This week we wrote a poem based on Langston Hughes Poem, "A Dream Deferred" Now that you have had more time to reflect on the poem, in at least three sentences, tell me what the poem says about "Dreams." Complete this task correctly, see me for 10 Cavaliers or a piece of candy!
Dream Deferred
What happens to a dream deferred?
Does it dry up Like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore--And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over--like a syrupy sweet?
Maybe it just sags like a heavy load.
Or does it explode?
