The article is mainly about Obama and Sotomayor and how she is a good judge or not a very good one.

The main idea of the story is that they need a new judge because David Souter retired from being a supreme court.
It happened because David souter retired from the supreme court.
It is important because it will sow us if she is a good judge.
Obama's Choice for the Supreme Court
ReplyDeleteThe artical is about Barack Obama. This occured in the Unided States,in court. The artical is mostly about Barack Obama and the choice he made in the suprem court. Which was to allow Sonia Sotomayor choose where she sat and let her be a part of the Supreme Court. This happened because Barack Obama had a choice and he selected her. Also because the state could confirm her. It was importent "because if the state confirms her Sotomayor will be the first Hispanic justice and third woman to sit on the Supreme Court".
The article I chose to read is "Obama's Choice For The Supreme Court." This article is about Sonia Sotomayor, while she was at the white house she told us a little about her life. Her dad died when she was 9, and her mom worked 2 jobs to keep her and her brother in school. Sonia graduated the top of her class. Then she graduated at Yell Law school. Berack Obama says that she interpret the laws, NOT make them. Berack Obama sugest she should be a loyer and a juge to make her a qualified to sit at the Supreme Court. Her personal history gave Obama a reason to pick her too. She has been elected by 3 presedents and sriked a basebal game that was importent one year. Obama says that Sonia will be back in June and she will be on a new season for the supreme court in October.
ReplyDeleteThis is article is about Sotomayor. How her father died when she was 9 and her mother raised her. Also how her mom worked 2 jobs to keep her & her brother in school. That's nice of her? Sotomayor gratuaded from Yell law school. She was top of her class too!! Obama thinks she should be a layer & a judge for supreme so she could become a member of supreme court. Three presidents already voted for her.
