This artic is thirteen year old girl you won a spelling bee.this girl was not nervoues. She knew every word the judges throw at her. When the last word came she nailed it. there were four rounds to this compation. the last word she spelled ment the pacticing of relionge. So this is about how a girl won a spelling bee.
ReplyDeleteThe article I picked was SUCCESS. It was about a girl named Kavvy. This acured in washington DC. The artile is about a girl named Kavvy , she made it into the nationals spelling bee. She stuied the words and she wrote them on her hand and arms.Bye the time you now she is the only one standing. It was Kavvy she was able to spell these big words, and get it correct. Kavvy got a trofy for geting all the words corect and being the last one standing. She was very happy and so were her parents.
ReplyDeleteThe Article S-U-C-C-E-S-S is about a girl named Kavya Shivashankar, 13, years old was in a game to win the 2009 Scripps National Spelling Bee .This article occured in 2009 in Olathe, Kansas as she holds up her golden trophy.This happened because Kavya Shivashankar won the speeling bee aginast Tim Ruiter,Aishwarya Pastapur.They where the two other constanted .This article is important because Kavya Shivashankar was only 13 years old and she bet the other constanted and she was one of the best spellers .Also this was important because there was "A total of 293 champion spellers participated in the competition, a record high in the event's 82 years."Also " After 12 rounds, Kavya faced off against Aishwarya Pastapur, 13, of Springfield, Illinois, and Tim Ruiter, 12, of Centreville, Virginia".Also there were alot of people watching her spell.

The main idea is about how this girl named Kavya Shivashankar won the spelling bee and how she was nervous in the beginning but it did it look like she shoed it. Kavya calmly wrote out Laodicean on the palm of her hand before she spelled it aloud,that's the same thing she did with the other word's.The Contestants ranged in age from 9 to 15 they came from all over the country and from all around the world. As the last speller standing, Kavya received more than $40,000 in cash and prizes and an engraved golden trophy.

This article is mainly about how Kavya won the championship spelling bee contest to beat 293 other kids in the contest. It happend because 294 kids came to america around the world to compeat for the national spelling bee. This was important because it was a mircale that 294 kids came and she perservered and won.

It was on a Thursday when this 8th grader won this award. In Washington D.C. every year they have a national spelling bee. So in this years spelling bee Kavya won. She won when they gave her the word Laodicean she wrote it on her palm then said it out loud. This is important because she really studied and it all the studying she did paid off when she won.

ReplyDeleteThe article is about a girl Kavya Shivashanker who just won the spelling Bee.The Spelling bee took place in Washington D.C.Last Thursday.The Article Success is about An Eighth grader Kavya Shivashanker who won the spelling Bee.She obiosly thought she was successful well atleast that is what i infer.It happened all in 16 rounds. when she had to spell the word Laodicean. There were 3 last contestants including her and biously she was the lucky winner.It was important to her because after this experience I think she has a chance of being a real big Champion.Kavya said she is going to retire from spelling bee because she wants to be a brain surgeon.
